For over a decade, we washed bed linen for over 50 guesthouse rooms… every single day! So we know a little bit about what bed linen gives the best sleep, the best care and the best longevity.
We’ve used all linen options. Microfibre, polyester, polycotton, Pima cotton, T-shirt bedding, and a few other strange fabrics too.
Egyptian Cotton bed linen is by far the best we have used in over 10 years. That’s why we now handmake bespoke linen for our clients using only the finest, personally selected fabrics that we know will last, while still giving the best quality sleep.
Our ethos is to always choose quality over quantity – we will never import cheap sheet(s) from China to sell at a huge profit.
Having launched a wool duvet business that has become incredibly successful, our aim at Oh Sheet is to put the best quality linens onto our clients beds.
When you've washed over 100,000 loads of bed linen (yes... we had over 50 guest rooms for over a decade), you get to know what works best on beds. We also make wool duvets. So our knowledge of bedding is quite vast. We don't buy the cheapest fabrics to manufacture huge quantities of linen... we make exceptional quality sheet(s) that give great sleep, and are made to last.
Our 100% Egyptian Cotton bedding contains no polyester or plastic that will pollute the planet. Sleep better knowing you're being kinder to the Earth, and that by washing your Oh Sheet products, you won't be polluting the water with micro-plastics that leech off into waste water. Our products also have a very small carbon footprint, being manufactured in South Africa, and not imported from overseas.
Despite what naysayers profess, Egyptian Cotton remains one of the most breathable and luxurious fabrics available. It keeps you cool in summer, and warm in winter - with no plastic additives. Natural cotton also allows better moisture management (...yes... sweat).
You can sleep better knowing that no chemicals were used to make your bedding, like with polyester, eucalyptus or hemp.
